Held at his mansion in Beverly Hills, California, the rapper and producer’s party grabbed the attention of guests with a unique invitation: narrated by Naomi Campbell. For instance, this event marked the last Diddy party attended by basketball player Kobe Bryant and actor Chadwick Boseman before their untimely deaths.
Additionally, Jay Z and Kanye West were no longer on the best of terms following the release of the Watch the Throne album. However, according to the source, when they saw each other, they greeted one another as if they hadn’t seen each other in years.
While it’s not confirmed that this was when West decided to distance himself from his former friends, Diddy’s party provided a backdrop for them to resolve their differences.
That was also around the time when the elevator recordings from the Met Gala involving Beyoncé, her sister Solange Knowles, and Jay Z were leaked. Perhaps for this reason, the singer was particularly cautious about the presence of cameras. However, her husband came to her defense.
